Project management can be a difficult subject to grasp, let alone apply the concepts! This video provides an overview of the key elements of project management based on the internationally recognized project management body of knowledge (PMBOK).

This video based training program illustrates how a project leader manages a project from initiation through to closing, introducing the viewer to the importance of understanding the project lifecycle and the 9 project management knowledge areas. In the video, a new manager is given a project to complete but faces many challenges along the way. By using some of tools and techniques outlined in the project management body of knowledge, the project manager completes the project on time and within budget.

Supporting Training Materials:
The video comes with a Facilitator's Guide, Student Workbook, and PowerPoint Presentation. The materials map the information contained in the video by highlighting key teaching, reflection, and learning points. Facilitators have the opportunity to pause the video after each scene in order to initiate group discussion and participation.
