LEARNING THE ACCOUNTING GAME: THE BASICS-

This innovative program uses the simple experience of running a lemonade stand to provide participants with a foundation in the basics of accounting. Based on the popular seminar series, this program covers the three common accounting statements: the balance sheet, the income statement and the cash staement. Scenarios are given that help participants see how different business transactions affect the statements. Other concepts discussed include: the basic accounting equation; cost of goods sold; how profit relates to cash.
